Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Danikk Labradors breeds for the English style of Labrador, emphasizing a blocky head, broad chest, thick, double hair coat, and an "otter tail."  All of our dogs work.

We breed Black, Yellow and Chocolate

 Our puppies start at $2250.00.

Danikk offers a lifetime dog replacement guarantee on hips, eyes, and elbows.

All Danikk puppies are vaccinated, wormed, have dewclaws removed, and are microchipped before they go home with you.

Yes, we do ship puppies via air at eight weeks of age.

Yes, there are temperature restrictions; the temperature must be greater than 10 degrees F and less than 85 degrees F.

Our puppies are shipped freight collect. Buyer's responsibility.

The color and sex of puppies we have available greatly varies. The best way to get up-to-date information on puppy availability is to contact us.

We prefer the Vari Kennel or equivalent as they keep hair and debris in one place. Size: Approximately 24"W x 35"D x 26"H. Others prefer wire crates - the size should be about the same.

Adjustable buckle collar - first collar should be for l0"-14" neck. The next collar should be 14"-20". Nylon is best. COLLARS SHOULD NOT BE LEFT ON WHEN THE PUPPY IS UNATTENDED.

We recommend two stainless steel or hard plastic dog dishes and a slicker brush (one with bent pins) for weekly grooming. Dog shampoo can also be used whenever the puppy looks or smells dirty.

You may use any premium brand of puppy food.

We recommend Simple Solution by Brampton; it's an excellent cleanup product.

Eight weeks.

We recommend training begin on day 1 using positive reinforcement methods. Puppy classes should start at 12 weeks, and a traditional obedience class should follow. We do not recommend clicker training or head collars.

Ask Dr. Smith for recommended vaccinations.

Generally, males weigh around 85 pounds, and females weigh about 65 pounds.

A microchip is a form of permanent identification embedded in an animal's scruff. It is about as big as a grain of rice. Each microchip contains a unique number that can be read with a special scanner. Most veterinarians, humane societies, and animal controls have microchip scanners.
